Learn about Romanian culture and community in the Washington, D.C. area through traditional food and drinks, dance performances, live music, a marketplace, a folk exhibit and activities for kids. The menu ranges from stuffed cabbage rolls to grilled meats to Romanian desserts. The event is free with food and goods available for purchase.
Sample everything from spring rolls and shawarma to croissants and cupcakes at this annual food festival in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. The free festival, which is in its 33rd year, features bites from 50 neighborhood restaurants and live entertainment on five stages. The free festival, now in its 44th year, draws crowds to downtown Takoma Park. Check out art and handmade crafts, meet representatives from local businesses and community groups, enjoy music from 18 local bands and grab a bite from a food truck or a neighborhood eatery.
Pike & Rose in North Bethesda will celebrate fall Oktoberfest-style with PIKEtoberfest, a free event complete with live music, a makers market, activities for kids and, of course, a beer garden. Dogs are welcome.
